Our team re-united this year for another round of the Big Hurt, this time our team name was "Get Real, Get Better". This year they shortened the kayak leg and changed the route a bit, but didn't mind in the end.

I got sick the night before and had to deal with night chills all night and feeling like shit during the race. I powered through it not wanting to let my team down...ended up with the fastest kayaking time in the team category and we ended up third overall! Podium finish was awesome, but in hindsight it may have been the rona for me during the race...
