Arlyn ran the Portland Marathon and I paddled the Pakayak around the Willamette River on an amazing fall day. Pretty awesome place to paddle, first went north towards old town and the Columbia, then turned around and went South along Ross Island and back. I wanted to do a lap around the island, but didn't want to risk missing Arlyn finish her marthon... Next time!

It was cool paddling and seeing several routes of the marathon along the way, and didn't know there was a submarine available for tours in Portland. Got to paddle right up to the USS Blueback (SS 581).

Spent the weekend in the Woodway area and Matt and I made it out for a morning paddle on a really nice fall day...maybe one of the last. It's always nice paddling different areas including the other side of the Sound.
